LCHS Unveils New School Crest

Lawrence County High School is proud to unveil its new official school crest. The design was selected through a collaborative voting process that included students, faculty, and staff, reflecting the shared voice and collective pride of the LCHS community.
The crest was created to serve as a unifying symbol of our school’s identity, values, and mission. Guided by the motto Purpose • Progress • Excellence, the crest represents why we are here, how we grow, and the standard to which we hold ourselves. Purpose reflects our commitment to intentional teaching, learning, and leadership. Progress symbolizes continuous growth, innovation, and improvement for both students and staff. Excellence represents our unwavering expectation that all members of the LCHS community strive to give their best in academics, athletics, fine arts, career pathways, and character.
More than a visual emblem, the LCHS crest embodies the spirit of Lawrence County High School and serves as a constant reminder of our shared responsibility to lead with purpose, advance through progress, and achieve excellence in all that we do.
