Message from the Principal:

The 2021 - 2022 school year brings to a unique place in education.  We look back on the past year and a half and see so many things that have changed. Though we've been through some tough times, there are many positives to what we have gone through.  The past school year allowed our teachers and students to grow in ways we never would have imagined prior to last year.  While we had hoped to one day become a one-to-one technology school, suddenly we became one in a single semester.  Our teachers, students, and parents all made adjustments to the changes.  We all learned.  We all changed.  Isn't that what learning is about?   Changing?  Learning to make negatives into positives?

As we move forward in this school year, we will seek to use technology more effectively.  We want to make it a part of learning, not just a place to give or submit assignments.  We want students to seek information, to create, to learn how to ask questions, to explore, and so much more.  We want to move forward, to accelerate, and we anticipate the very best for our students at LCHS.

Our vision is to equip all students to complete graduation requirements, to be college or career ready, and to function as successful adult members of society.  We want the best for every one of our students.   We want to know each one and help them grow into successful adults.  That is our goal.  We will work toward it every day.

Thank you, parents, for entrusting us with your child's education.  We know they are valuable to each of you, and we will always do our best to provide them with the very best we can provide.
