Personal Bio

I am Donna Boyd Rose. I was born and raised here in Lawrence County. I am a 1998 graduate of LCHS. I received by Associates of Arts degree from Copiah-Lincoln Community College; Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry (minor in mathematics) from the University of Southern Mississippi; Masters of Combined Sciences (chemistry, biology, mathematics) from Mississippi College.  I attend Divide Memorial Methodist Protestant Church and my faith in God, especially my relationship with Him, is the most important thing in my life. My husband and I do not have any children, but we do have 4 fur babies: Ginger, Rolo, Copper, and Gemma; and we also enjoy spending time with our 9 nieces and nephews: Raven, Maggie, Johnna, Jaycee, Zerah, Ally, Brantley, Nash, and Emery. 

This year I am teaching chemistry and physical science. These "covid years" have given us change after change, and more are likely to happen; however, together we can navigate these challenging times, but we all have to do our part. I will do my very best and expect my students to perform at their best, too!
